Reading a Korean Aesthetic Quote: Shots, cc, Vials and Sessions

Start with what the number describes
Planning an autumn or November visit to Seoul? A quote may mention 600 shots, 2 cc, a vial or three sessions. These are different measures, not interchangeable ways to judge value. The cover shows Gold J Clinic’s waiting and consultation area, not a treatment result.
Four units that answer different questions
Shots are one part of an energy-device treatment plan. Read the count alongside the device, model, tip and treatment area. A cc is a unit of volume: 1 cc equals 1 mL. Volume alone does not establish ingredients, concentration, suitability or results.
A vial describes a container or product quantity; confirm the exact product and specification. A session describes one service visit. It does not automatically tell you how many vials are used or whether every visit includes the same quantity.
600 shots is not a universal treatment specification
Radiofrequency and ultrasound are different technologies even when both are priced by a shot count. Compare the device, tip, area and included services first. A higher count is not an outcome score or a reason to request more energy yourself.
Ask which model and tip the quote covers, which areas are included and how the clinician will adapt the plan to you. A price list cannot determine medical suitability.
Volume is not botulinum toxin potency
For injectable treatments, establish the product, ingredients and specification before comparing quantities. Botulinum toxin potency units are not the same as solution volume. The FDA’s BOTOX Cosmetic label states that its units cannot be compared with or converted into those of other botulinum toxin products.
Do not calculate your dose from cc or another patient’s experience. Wording such as “one vial, three sessions” does not by itself establish whether a vial is included at every session or shared across the course. Ask for a per-session and whole-course breakdown. This guide gives no dilution instructions, personal doses or treatment intervals.
Separate standalone prices, add-ons and the final bill
An add-on price may require a qualifying main treatment; it should not be read as a standalone booking price. Ask whether anaesthesia or comfort management, reviews and other charges are included. Request the final payable amount and confirmation of VAT treatment rather than assuming an excluding-VAT display is the final bill.
Check the current promotions section for dates, participating clinicians and eligibility. Spending rewards and treatment-price discounts are separate arrangements; do not assume every offer can be freely combined. Ask the clinic to confirm your actual booking.
Five questions to take to your consultation
What are the full product or device name, model, tip and specification? Are the area, amount per session, session count and whole-course contents written separately? Who will treat me, and is a requested clinician charged differently? Which costs are required or optional, and is VAT included? What are the aftercare, review, cancellation and rescheduling arrangements?
Explain previous treatments, medicines, allergies and return-travel dates. More shots or a larger gift does not make a plan right for you. You can have a consultation, take time to consider or postpone rather than deciding immediately.
FAQ: are more shots always better?
No. The treatment area, tip, individual circumstances and clinical plan matter. A larger number does not establish suitability or safety.
FAQ: can I compare two 2 cc offers on price alone?
First establish whether the product, ingredients, specification, area and included services match. Equal volume does not establish equal treatment.
FAQ: should I add treatment to qualify for a reward?
Discuss medical need and risk before promotions. Do not accept an otherwise unnecessary procedure just to reach a spending threshold.
